All of us are running in the rat race. We are so occupied with our jobs, studies, household works, friends, family responsibilities and travel that we leave someone behind us while rushing to meet our schedules. And that someone is we ourselves. We don’t have time to take notice of even our breathing.
We eat food, drink water and sleep just as much as we think is enough for us. But we often ignore our body’s needs. Have we ever thought that there is someone constantly taking care of us just like our mothers.

It is our IMMUNE SYSTEM. Our Immune System is literally our Body Guard that fights off harmful external microbial bodies; adjusts with climatic conditions; indicates us when there is danger; prevents toxins from piling up in your body and keeps us going.
What is Immune System?
The immune system is a natural defense system in our body. It comprises of many biological structures and processes that protects against diseases. The immune system is responsible for detecting a wide variety of agents known as pathogens like viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasitic worms and keep them away from our healthy tissues. In humans the blood–brain barrier, blood–cerebrospinal fluid barrier, and similar fluid–brain barriers separate the peripheral immune system from the neuro-immune system which protects the brain.
What does Immune System do?
The immune system is composed of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that function in coordination to protect our body. It performs our body’s defensive functions. Immune system follows a series of steps called the Immune Response in which it attacks alien organisms and substances that invade our body to cause diseases.
